Designed for mounting wind turbines onto buildings, these brackets provide a two fold isolation system. The primary isolation is provided either side of the integral scaffold clamp providing isolation in all directions and combined with a fail safe mounting method.
The current product is based on the standard 48.3mm diameter scaffold pole. Special sizes may also be accommodated.
The secondary isolation system is used isolates the bracket itself from the building using 3 of our standard bolt isolators. In this case M12 bolt isolators are used. The brick, concrete or stonework is drilled to accommodate a chemical anchor system such as the Hilti HIT System.
Metalwork is typically protected by an iron phospate plus polyester powder coating available as standard in grey although alternative colours can be provided at extra cost.
Exposed rubber elements are manufactured in a weather resistant EPDM rubber material.
By securing the 1m wide member to the wall using 4 off bolt isolators and with the isolated clamp bracket fixed to the to the 500mm ‘T’ section, this same bracket can be used for gable end installations as well as corner installations. The isolated clamp bracket can aslo be fitted oin either side of the bracket member.
These products are sold in pairs. Where a very long pole is to be used, it may be advisable to use three brackets
