Metalflex

The Vibrostop Metalflex mount is very similar to the AVMR bobbin mount except that the rubber portion is cylindrical rather than ‘waisted’.
This mount is exceptionally versatile and available in the three variants shown and designated -
VV – male/male thread
VB – male/female thread
BB – female/female thread

Installation
These mounts are most effective in a shear/compression mode and are not intended for tensile loading. All male threaded items are supplied with plated nuts and lock washers.

Typical Applications
Fans, motors, compressors, electrical equipment commensurate with loading requirements. Automotive applications include mountings for water or oil coolers. These mounts are used for both active and passive vibration suppression and shock protection.

Materials
Rubber: Vibrostop Elastomer – 60 Shore A standard material. Alternatives available on request
Metal: Plated steel
